How to be successful Modelling can be a fantastic career and lead on to many opportunities. To become a successful model takes a great work ethic, dedication, and a positive attitude. Personal appearance is key and should be maintained through a healthy lifestyle and general grooming. Modelling involves working in multiple locations and with different teams daily so being punctual and professional is vital. We as your agent will guide you through what to wear, how to greet clients and how to have a successful career.

Be safe Firstly, it costs nothing to join a model agency. If anybody asks you for money for a modelling contract, please avoid, this is a scam. So many young boys and girls are being exploited and tricked, please be careful and do your research. A Duo scout will always have a business card with them, if you are unsure if you have been approached by a legitimate scout please call the agency to check.

We require parental consent for anyone under the age of 18 to start a career as a model. Education is a priority, so it is important that studies are not disrupted and so communication between home & agency is vital and a young person will only be booked with a parent or guardian’s consent.

Many people pose as scouts via social media, please be careful and do not send any details to them until they have provided a valid email address. Our emails are in the format of prefix@duomodelmgmt.com , any other email layout is not a member of the Duo team.

You do not need a professional portfolio to be considered, natural photos are always preferred.
